Interesting game, I liked the addition of a shield to give some time in case you made a mistake, one thing that I think needs to be an improvement is to have the player move with the platform. It is genuinely infuriating when games don't do this sort of thing, especially since the controls are a little slippery.

errorerratum responds:

Thank you for your review. I had originally had the player move with the platform but the game felt far too easy when I had things set up like that. With that said I'll keep the advice in mind.

This game looks amazing, it just needs a bit more content.

SlickRamen responds:

more content soon!!!!

Pretty good game, this could work as a mobile game.

PatrickZochAlves responds:

Thanks,

I think it actually works on mobile if you access newgrounds directly from your phone.

But thanks for the suggestion anyway, I'll try to implement it in the stores!

Really want to play this game but can't because it won't load :(

Edit: Fuck I'm using a mac.

Was this made during a game jam, cause it looks like it was?

SECURAS responds:

yep

I don't even think I can call this a game since literally nothing happens.

Edit: Ok is this the entire game or are you gonna add something to it.

SuperGibaLogan responds:

well basically yeah its not even a game its just a clicker lmao
and uhhh no thats just the entire game ik its boring lol

This game has a lot of potential in it. The only thing bringing it back is that the dialogue is painstakingly long and the game feels rather short, but that could be just me being bad at the game.

Edit: I understand

GBirdMan responds:

Ideally I would want to make the dialogue able to fast forward with a different key, which games like Paper Mario do by letting you skip through text with A or B. And bafflingly, Ocarina of Time doesn't. (at least this game isn't alone)

Unfortunately, Bolt (visual scripting), which I somehow felt the need to use in a project like this, isn't working properly, so I can't add the nodes I would need to. I figure I can at least update it to reload a different version of the scene that already takes you to the position above the tower if you lose.

Honestly my only goal was to finally get this working and put it out there, as it had already been a while. The aim of this section is to look for higher platforms and choose them first, which kind of requires you to have good timing. (and jump, of course)

I really want to give it five stars, I really do. But the downloading part is way too hard at 99%. I feel like there are times where it's impossible to not take damage.

FutureCopLGF responds:

Very understandable! On retrospect, I noticed that some of the randomly generated patterns were a bit too tough than I intended. Along with the new arcade mode patch, I've rebalanced the difficulty slightly, so feel free to revisit if you can (though no pressure, since it is still a doozy)!
